7. Romance & Financial Scam Warning

Never send money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or financial assistance to someone you meet online. Common scam tactics include:

  • Requests for emergency funds
  • Travel expenses to meet you
  • Investment opportunities or business proposals
  • Requests for prepaid cards or cryptocurrency
  •  Claims of being stranded abroad
  • Scammers may also claim to be military personnel, engineers working overseas, or professionals temporarily located abroad.

If any user requests money or financial assistance, immediately stop communication and report the account.

MeetWed LLC strictly prohibits financial solicitation between users.

8. Photo & Profile Authenticity

Be cautious of profiles that:

  •  Avoid real-time video verification
  •  Provide inconsistent profile details
  •  Claim to work overseas or in remote locations
  • Upload photos that clearly show you. Avoid posting group photos that may confuse your identity.

If a user refuses video verification or repeatedly delays it, treat this as a potential warning sign.

9. Use the Block Feature

  • Block anyone who makes you uncomfortable, behaves suspiciously, or violates MeetWed’s rules.
  • Blocking is immediate and prevents further contact.

10. Report Suspicious Behavior

  • Report accounts that seem fake, abusive, or unsafe.
  • Include screenshots or relevant messages when possible.
  • Reports help keep the community safe and allow MeetWed LLC to take action quickly.

  • Ask for money or financial assistance
  • Send threatening or abusive messages
  • Misrepresent their identity or personal details
  • Share explicit or illegal content
  • Attempt to bypass platform safety systems
